Clinical Experience
Direct Patient Care
Serves as a first-responder agency and provides patient care at the EMT-B level to help those experiencing medical emergencies on UNC Main Campus
Stabilizes and prepares patients to be transported for an average of 13 minutes before transporting unit arrival
Average response time of 4 minutes in 2022-2023 operations
Members ride on neighboring county ambulances to experience different EMS systems and a wide-variety of call types throughout the semester
Assists UNC Campus Health in patient care throughout the various Campus Health clinics
Work as vaccinators with Campus Health in the Student Stores Pharmacy & Orange County
